Study Abroad Application Process

STEP 1

• Explore your study abroad options by visiting the SCC study abroad website
• Pick up a program brochure in the International Programs office PUB 9303
• Lean about scholarships and other financial aid opportunities
• Meet with your campus study abroad advisor for more information:

STEP 2

Print out an application packet for the program of your choice:

– Quarter-Long WCCCSA Application Packet (for Costa Rica, Italy, London, & Peru- summer only)
– Quarter-Long Business and VCT Program (for Denmark) Application Packet
– Summer Institutes (Bali, Ireland, Jamaica, South Africa) Application Packet

STEP 3

Give the Faculty Recommendation Form (included in the application packet) to an SCC faculty for him/her to complete. Once completed, the faculty will send the form directly to the International Programs office to be added to your file.

STEP 4

Turn in your completed application to:

STEP 5

You will be contacted to schedule an interview with the Study Abroad Advisor.  Once your interview is complete and your application materials are reviewed, you will be notified whether your application has been approved.
