WCCCSA is a state-wide organization that provides community college students the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and experience a new culture by living and studying abroad.

WCCCSA sponsors several study-abroad programs each year in London, Paris, Spain, Italy and/or Costa Rica. Each of these programs is one academic quarter long and the dates generally coincide with Shoreline's start and end dates.

Students can participate in a WCCCSA program after completing two quarters of full-time study, and meeting other requirements such as a minimum 2.65 grade point average and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.

Instructors from WCCCSA member colleges are selected to teach for the programs. Course offerings differ from year to year. Each program, however, requires students to take language and/or culture courses, which are taught by local instructors. See the Study Abroad Advisor for specific course offerings associated with upcoming programs.
