The International Student Orientation Program (ISOP) is very important
for your success at Shoreline and for studying in the United States.
Therefore, every international student is required to attend. We
recommend arriving
at least two days before ISOP begins. This will give you time to recover
from a long trip and start your college career feeling good!
During the five days of ISOP, you will:
• take Math and English placement tests
• take a campus tour given by American students
• receive academic advising and register for classes
• have seminars to help you adjust to living and studying in the USA
• meet the entire International Programs (IP) staff
•
take a tour of Seattle
Orientation fee of $60 (one time fee for all new international students) will cover light refreshmetns and retention activities throughout academic year.
